We are Marieke Smit and Jan van der Zwet, owners of holiday homes ‘Vakantiewoningen Ruigenhoek’. Marieke was born and bred here and therefore knows the area like the back of her hand.

Used to the silence and cherishing the beautiful views and the surroundings with its many possibilities, we decided to share this unique place with others.

Farm “De Ruigenhoek”

Farm "De Ruigenhoek" is Marieke's parental home and we enjoyed letting it out as a large holiday home for 12 years. We now live in this very nice house ourselves, since October 2022.

In the Netherlands, we continue to let out our cosy wellness lodge for 4 people, because we so highly value receiving nice guests at our unique place.

And in Spain we will share yet another fantastic place with dear guests. From January 2023, here you can enjoy a luxury flat for up to 6 people.

Passion for our paramedical centre

Our second passion is situated in the village of Noordwijk, where Jan owns paramedical centre ‘De Praktijk’.
This centre offers various disciplines, amongst which are acupuncture, bioresonance therapy, physiotherapy and manual therapy.
Marieke worked in De Praktijk as office manager.
